Governor Cuomo joined the governors of Connecticut, New Jersey  and announced they have agreed to close bars, restaurants, movie theaters and casinos starting at 8 p.m. Monday.  TAKE OUT food options is allowed.

Governor Cuomo issued a separate executive order that includes several health care items and also information about closures at malls and amusement-related businesses:

Effective Saturday night (3/21/20) at 8 p.m., all barbershops, hair salons, tattoo or piercing parlors, and other personal care services will be closed to the public in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The new executive order issued for New York State says this includes nail technicians, cosmetologists, estheticians, and the provision of electrolysis, laser hair removal services.These services cannot be provided while maintaining social distance.

Artpark Box Office -
CLOSED for in-person sales effective immediately and until further notice. Patrons who wish to purchase tickets or have ticketing-related questions may call (716)754-4375 between the hours of 10AM - 4PM, Monday-Friday. Tickets may also be purchased online anytime at  The administrative offices will also be closed, and staff will work remotely until further notice. The program has been postponed until further notice. There might be an outdoor court late May if possible.

Niagara Wheatfield Central School District - School will be closed for students beginning Monday, March 16, and until April 20, 2020. District’s will reassess student attendance weekly. St. Paul's Episcopal Church - Lewiston, NY  -
All in-person worship and events are suspended until further notice.  We will be live streaming a shortened service each Sunday at 11:15am on Facebook (SPLewiston)

St. Peter's R.C. Parish - Lewiston, NY. ALL PUBLIC MASSES, programs and events are cancelled until further notice, effective immediately.  The Church will remain open for those who wish to come and pray.

Town of Lewiston Offices - Town of Lewiston Town Hall and all town buildings will be closed to the public effective 3/18/20. The staffing will remain at 50% per an executive order from the governor , which means that all town departments will have someone on hand to answer phone calls. If you have a situation that requires immediate action you can call the town at 716-754-8214. If you have an emergency you are asked to call 911. Our town police department is operating at 100%.

Town of Lewiston Court Office - Town of Lewiston Court Office is closed until further notice. There is no court on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice.

Town of Lewiston Senior Center - Closed until further notice  

Town of Porter - Town Hall will be closed until further notice because of circumstances beyond our control.  Limited staff will be present and in case of an emergency, please call 745-3730 or highway 791-3831.

Village of Lewiston Recreation Programs - All Recreation Programs at LEWISTON RED BRICK are now cancelled as well as Lewiston Swim at Stella Niagara until further notice  

Wear and Share - Community closet is closed until further notice  

Youngstown Free Library - All programs sponsored by or held at the library are cancelled from March 16 to April 10th.  Call or email for curbside pickup!

Youngstown Recreation Program
- All recreation programs are closed until further notice. All State Park playgrounds, athletic courts and sporting fields are CLOSED.
