Local Resident to be featured on Antique Roadshow!

At the end of the month a local longtime resident and retired school teacher at Niagara Wheatfield, Lloyd Draper, will be featured on Antiques Roadshow!  The segment will air on Monday, April 25th, PBS Buffalo station WNED Channel 17.

Last October Lloyd traveled to Hamilton, NJ to be filmed in a local park named "Grounds for Sculpture".  He asked the appraisers to look at a rare WWII U.S. Navy helmet worn by his Great Uncle, Captain James Earl Arnold, who was assigned as the Navy Officer In Charge of the allied invasion of Utah Beach at Normandy, France and one of the most historic battles and a turning point of WWII.

You will have to watch to see what he found out about his family heirloom.
